As part of the temperature-controlled rooms project for the multinational logistics company REDUR, GMD Solutions developed all the technical reports, management, and project management. From the application for licenses to the legalizations, including all the management and coordination of the construction.

The room built in REDUR Bailén, located in the town of Guarromán (Jaén), consists of almost 1500m2 that have been insulated with low conductivity refrigeration panels and a dropped ceiling, in order to be able to carry out the corresponding maintenance.

The air conditioning of the room is provided by two CIAT Rooftop units, located on one of the sides of the building, which allow the temperature conditions required by the customer (interior between 15°C and 25°C). Dock shelters have also been installed on the loading dock doors, and all the entrances to the hall have been insulated to prevent leaks in the most critical areas. The lighting in the hall has also been completely replaced using highly efficient high bay LED lights, which considerably reduce consumption with respect to the previous equipment that used metal halide.

The execution of all the works was carried out by the Energy Services Company ENERGIO, with whom we usually collaborate providing our engineering services in their projects.

After the logistics warehouses in Valencia, Benavente, and Vitoria, this is the fourth project developed for one of the largest logistics companies in Spain, which has more than sixty logistics centers and whose headquarters are located in Algete (Madrid).

Currently, REDUR continues to rely on GMD Solutions for technical advice in the development of its logistics activity.
