In October 2022, the activity commenced at the cross-docking logistics warehouse of the Spanish multinational REDUR in Villanubla, just a few kilometers away from the capital of Castilla y León.

GMD Solutions carried out all the work of project drafting, Project Management, and management of licenses and legalizations with the different institutions: city council, the delegation of industry, and the Junta de Castilla y León; carrying out integral management of the project, from its design to the completion of the execution and start-up.

The industrial establishment is located in the San Cosme industrial zone, sharing the industrial park with several logistics and retail companies.

The warehouse has ten truck docks equipped with hydraulic platforms, automatic doors, shelters, and 20 light vehicle bays with sectional doors. The facility has 1,635m2, of which 1,516m2 is dedicated to logistics and 118m2 to administrative area. The center also has fire extinguishing and fire detection facilities and a temperature-controlled room to serve pharmaceutical customers.

The exterior layout, crucial for truck and van maneuvering, comprises more than 1,800m2 of specially developed concrete flooring for such applications by one of the leading companies in industrial flooring, RINOL ROCLAND.

Various experienced logistics companies participated in the construction, including Crealia Construcciones y Obras, a construction company based in Medina del Campo; Gil Urzay, specializing in low and medium-voltage electrical installations; and CAMPISA, an Italian company that manufactures loading docks and sectional doors. The office climate control is achieved through a VRV-type unit provided by TH Mantenimiento.

REDUR continues to solidify its position as one of the fastest-growing logistics companies nationwide, having significantly expanded its network of centers, with further expansion expected in the coming years.
