REDUR Zaragoza

During the summer of 2022, the multinational transport company REDUR commenced operations at its new cross-docking facility in Villanueva de Gállego, a town close to Zaragoza. This facility will handle all trailer removal operations for the country’s northeast.
The facilities, which can be considered twins with those also developed in the same year, 2022, in Guarromán and Vitoria, have 4,500m2 of fully air-conditioned logistics hall and offices on two floors with more than 300m2 between administrative facilities and use for carriers and warehouse workers.
GMD Solutions, as REDUR’s reference engineering firm in Spain, carried out the integral monitoring of the work and the projects and project management of the building’s refrigeration paneling, air conditioning, installation of the sorter, and adaptation of the low voltage installation.

The project developer, Kyrene, developed its projects in turnkey format with the construction company Sinergia, which led to close collaboration during the months of execution to coordinate all the works.

TH Mantenimiento carried out the air conditioning installation while the manufacturer and installer TAVER Instaclack executed the paneling. For its part, the Basque electrical installer Gil Urzary was responsible for adapting the electrical installation.

The VANDERLANDE sorter, identical to those installed in Guarromán, Benavente, and Vitoria, with a capacity of more than 10,000 packages per day, was installed after completion of the warehouse.

With these facilities, REDUR continues its expansion in Plan de Calidad 2023, which aims to double its facilities throughout the peninsula in a record period of 3 years.

The GMD Solutions team has extensive experience designing and managing cross-docking logistics facilities, having developed more than 100,000m2 of logistics projects in the last four years.
