GMD Solutions carried out all the projects, Construction Management, and Project Management of the installation of the controlled temperature room of the logistics center of the Spanish multinational company REDUR in the town of Benavente (Zamora).

The project is part of the agreement between GMD Solutions and REDUR for the installation of temperature-controlled rooms in different locations of the Spanish geography for the treatment of pharmaceutical merchandise.

The room, with a surface area of 1,700m², will be completely paneled around the perimeter and will have a dropped ceiling with refrigeration. The installation is designed to guarantee a temperature-controlled delivery service (between 15°C and 25°C). For this purpose, two large Rooftop units from CIAT were installed for the production of air conditioning which will be distributed through micro-perforated textile ducts. In addition, the room has different loading and unloading docks integrated with dock shelters to avoid excessive heat or cold losses.

GMD Solutions carried out the drafting of the technical projects, the Construction Management, and the Health and Safety Coordination.

The execution of the works is executed by the company specialized in the integration of solutions Energio Sparado, while GMD Solutions has drawn up the technical projects and took care of the technical direction throughout the execution and commissioning process.

The air-conditioned room at REDUR Benavente is the second one to be built, after REDUR Valencia, as part of an agreement that also includes rooms of similar size and characteristics at the logistics centers in Vitoria, Bailén, and Zaragoza.

REDUR is one of the largest transport companies nationwide, with more than 60 delivery centers located in Spain and Portugal. In addition, the company has the largest private logistics center in Spain, in the town of Algete (Madrid), where its headquarters are located.
