GMD Solutions, in collaboration with Energio España, has completed the substitution of the complete lighting to LED technology in the establishment. This project also includes the installation of an energy saving and electronic protection device, Enerkeeper.
The RealCafé Bernabéu, located in the south ends area of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium (in the capital of Spain), is one of the most emblematic restaurants in Madrid and offers the best view of the field of one of the most famous (if not the most!) football club in the world.
The project includes the substitution of more than 500 light points, reaching savings over 70% in the electrical consumption for lighting. This substitution allows an annual reduction of CO2 equivalent to the absorbed for 8.200 trees.
The Enerkeeper device will allow protection against over-voltages, giving additional savings in the total energy consumption around 10%.
