In July 2019, two single-family homes in one of the best areas of the Castilian-La Mancha town of Ciudad Real have been delivered to our clients. GMD Solutions has participated as Project Manager of both, as well as, performing the Execution Management, and Health and Safety Coordination, in a rigorous way, in order to meet the requirements of our clients.

The architecture studio Arellano Arquitectos, a partner of GMD in various developments, was in charge of shaping the project.

Both houses, of 200m2 and 700m2 built respectively, have been executed by the company HGG as the main construction company. The work carried out by our team included: contracting bids, daily on-site monitoring of the execution, control of certifications and invoicing, legalizations and negotiations with supply companies, and last but not least, the coordination of the health and safety of the project. We have also provided advice on one of GMD’s specialties, energy efficiency, since both houses have state-of-the-art air conditioning systems (aerothermal and geothermal). Even taking advantage of the new regulatory framework for energy self-consumption in Spain, one of the houses has been provided with a self-consumption photovoltaic installation to minimize the energy impact on the usual maintenance costs.

The basis of the executed work has been the constant and daily contact with the client to satisfy its needs and concerns at all times. The management of an important budget and the coordination between the different trades has been key for the optimal result.

With this project, GMD Solutions opens a new line of work in the management and execution of single-family homes. The project is currently going on in Manilva, where a group of 27 luxury homes is being developed in an unbeatable location.
