During the second half of 2020, GMD Solutions carried out together with the Energy Services company and regular collaborator, Energio, the complete technical analysis of three public schools in the Castilian-La Mancha town of Azuqueca de Henares.
Specifically, the project included the development of Energy Efficiency audits, Building Assessment Reports, and the various reports for the application of subsidies from the IDAE (Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving) with the solutions proposed to improve Energy Efficiency.
As for the audits, all of them were drafted to comply with the Royal Decree 56/2016, and managed entirely by our Energy Efficiency department. Additionally, our technical department drafted the reports required to obtain subsidies for the improvement of facade enclosures, aluminum frames, and improvements to facilities. Finally, GMD Solutions also provided the Building Evaluation Report after an exhaustive analysis of the constructive characteristics and possible problems arising in the building over time.
The project was based on a previous technical visit, the analysis of the existing documentation and the subsequent projects and studies necessary for the preparation of all the reports and documents required within the public tender carried out by the City Council.
The schools studied were the CEIP (School of Infant and Primary Education) of La Paz, Maestra Plácida and Virgen de la Soledad. The buildings have a total surface area of over 10,000m2 and 50 classrooms.
